Frequently asked questions

How is YardPro priced for a park district or city?
By the number of parks, facilities and sites you map. Each one is a property. District Starter covers up to 50 properties at $79 per month, District Pro covers up to 250 at $299 per month, and District Unlimited covers everything at $499 per month. Every plan includes unlimited team members, so your whole crew and your contractors are on the same map at no extra cost.
Do we need a bid or board approval to buy it?
Usually not. YardPro is billed month to month on a card with no contract and no implementation fee, which keeps it inside the purchasing authority most general managers and public works directors already have. You can cancel any time.
We already have a work order or asset management system. Why add YardPro?
Those systems start from a work order queue and treat location as a text field. YardPro starts from the map. Every valve, controller, backflow, light pole and buried line is a pin with photos and a maintenance history, and the task is attached to the pin. Many agencies keep their existing system for reporting and use YardPro as the field map their crews actually open.
How long does it take to map a park?
A two person crew with two phones can pin the irrigation, utilities and assets of a typical neighborhood park in an afternoon. Large sports complexes take a day or two. There is no setup, no training course and no data migration. Download the app, open the property and start pinning.
What happens when our most experienced groundskeeper retires?
That is the problem YardPro exists to solve. Everything they know about where things are and how they were fixed gets pinned to the map while they are still on staff, with photos and dates. The next person opens the same map on day one.
Can contractors and seasonal staff use it?
Yes. Add as many team members as you need and remove them when the season or the contract ends. The maps, photos and task history stay with the district. Spanish language support is built in.
